This is a quick guide on how to get started with any college Chromebook device.
Switching the Chromebook on
To get started press the power button on the top right of the keyboard.

Using the Keyboard / Mouse
If you have used a generic keyboard and trackpad mouse there are only a few slight differences on a Chromebook. For example to right click, you will need to do a two finger click on the trackpad*.
*You can also use your own USB mouse or keyboard if you feel more comfortable with this.

Choosing a Network (if not on campus)
Once the device has booted up / turned on, you will be prompted to connect to a network. Choose your preferred WiFi connect and enter the password when prompted.

Signing into the Chromebook
Once you have connected to a WiFi connection, you can sign in using your full college email address and password*.
*If you have issues signing into the Chromebook you can use the device as a guest user, to do this go to the bottom left of the sign in page and click on ‘Guest User’.
