This will guide you on how to access Office 365 online and what tools it has to offer!
Accessing Office 365
- Go to Office.com and sign in to your Microsoft account or work or school account.
- Select a recent document or select an app like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
- Select a template or a blank document.
- While working on your document, you can:
- Select Share to send a link to others to collaborate on the document.
- Select the app launcher and switch to another app.
- Select Edit in [app name] to use the full-featured desktop app.
Sharing Content
You can share almost all your content within all Office 365 packages. Sharing has many advantages, you can use it to:
- send your document as a link instead of a file,
- work on a document with others (very useful for group project), and
- saves you creating multiple versions of the same file, users will be able to see any changes or live updates.
As mentioned in the first lesson, while working on your document, you can:
- Select Share to send a link to others to collaborate on the document (usually in the top right).
